1. The 16^th Edition of Indo-Nepal Joint training exercise “SURYA KIRAN – XVI” between India and Nepal will be conducted at Nepal Army Battle School, Saljhandi (Nepal) from 16-29 December 2022.

         It is biennial exercise, which is held alternately in both the countries,

2. The 6^th Edition of India-Kazakhstan Joint exercise ‘KAZIND-22’ has been conducted at umroi , Meghalaya from 15-28 December 2022.
3. US wildlife officials declare ‘Nevada Wild Flower’ as Endangered Species.
4. Cindy Hook has been appointed as the inaugural CEO of the organizing committee for the 2032 Olympic and paraolympic Games in Brisbane.
5. Tokyo makes solar panels mandatory for New homes built after 2035.
6. The Government of India has granted the GI tags to 9 New Items including :-
7. Gamocha (Assam)
8. Tandur red gram (Telangana)
9. Raktsey Karpo Apricot (Ladakh)
10. Alibagh White Onion (MH)

With this the total number of GI Tags in India comes to 432.
