24 January – National Girl Child Day 2023

To spread awareness about the inequalities faced by girls in India Society.

National Girl Child Day was first initiated in 2008 by the ministry of women and child development.

The Indian Navy has organised a six-day long Mega biennial Tri-Service amphibious exercise ‘AMPHEX 2023’ near Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh from January 17 to 22, 2023.

The Military exercise was organised between Indian Navy, Army and Air Force.

The Border Security Force (BSF) has started ‘Ops Alert’ exercise with an aim to enhance security along the India-Pakistan Border in Kutch District of Gujarat and Barmer in Rajasthan.

India Air Force is going to conduct a major exercise in Northeast India from February 1 to 5. This war exercise has been named ‘Pralay’.

Two Indian Films were awarded for the Best Script Writer and Best Actress in the Asian Film Competition Section at the 21st Dhaka International Film Festival organized from 14 to 22 January 2023.
(i) Aparajito – won the Best scriptwriting award.
(ii) Ketaki Narayan won the Best Actress award for prappeda.
