1. National Youth Day is held every year on 12^th January to observe the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

2. SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ has won the 2023 Golden Globe Awards for the best original song motion pictures for ‘Naatur Naatu’ track.

• The movie RRR was also nominatewd for the “Best Picture – Non-English”.

3. An Indian-American aerospace expert, AC Charania has been appointed as new chief technologist of NASA.

4. Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Vaccine manufacturer Serum Institute of India has received Patangrao Kadam Award for contribution in the fight against COVID-19.

5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has virtually inaugurated the two-day Global Investers Summit in Indore, MP.

Theme of the global Investers summit is ‘Madhya Pradesh – a future ready state’.

6. State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the mascot and theme song for the fifth edition of Khelo India Youth Games to be hosted by Madhya Pradesh.

• Mascot of Khelo India Games 2022 is ‘Asha’.

• Theme song – ‘Hindustan Ka Dil Dhadka Do’.

• The torch of Khelo India Youth Games was named Amarkantak, on which the figure of Maa Narmada is also engraved.
