The Defence minister has initiated the process to procure 100 more K-9 Vajra self propelled howitzer, which are made in India by Larsen & Toubro (L&T) using technology transferred by South Korean defence major Hanwha Defence.
K-9 Vajra:- It is a 155mm, 520-Calibre tracked self propelled Howitzer built by L&T.
